How many on here were in the fan club back in the day?
I remember getting the pack through the post, full of glossy pictures, pencils, patches and stickers - I loved it, even more so because it came from America!
Got really happy memories of coming home from school to find I had the latest Bantha Tracks to pour over. In a time before the internet and only 3 tv channels and no fancy sci fi magazines in our local wee paper shop it was the only SW info I really got.
I would read and re-read them over and over again, go into school next day full of hot of the press SW info for my mates, all the pictures were immediately stuck up on my bedroom wall and I would beg my folks to buy the merchandise on offer.
The only thing we ordered (and it was the thing I really wanted) was Luke's Bespin jacket, remember my folks weren't keen because of the "strange American sizing" but when it did arrive (and it took months to arrive) I thought it was pure SW magic - pride of place in my collection
I do remember being disappointed when Bantha Tracks covered Ewoks or even Indiana Jones as all I wanted to read about was Star Wars and getting this one definitely prompted a "what the f*ck" moment from my 13 year old self
Definitely a big part of my SW childhood memories
