not sure if theres a thread on this but maybe good to make a sticky but any news on this plot wise .
also did anyone go or is going for the auditions .
Plus i think brining in the origanal actors as main charectors could be a disaster unless the story picks up bout 30 years in the future

If they don't bring Harrison Ford back I will be disappointed. Not too fussed about the others - Hammill, Fisher etc.

A friend called me up and asked if I was going to the auditions. As i'm not an actor, and also not into Xfactor type mania, then no. Not for me ...It would be awesome to be in the new movie though

Yeah I agree, I'd love to be an extra in the film. I've tried searching the net for any links to put your name down for an extra role but couldn't find anything. I'd take anything just to be involved, I wonder if they need anyone to change the bog role 8)

i kinda agree .depends on story .if owt i would have say hammil as a cameo as a bar tender or summet

Does anyone even have the slightest clue about the storyline? If the next episode was set like twenty or thirty years in the future then why not have old Han Solo training rebel pilots or something. To wheel in all the old guys would be really ****, but it's almost a given that some of them will be back.

The only thing that is getting me excited about these is seeing the original guys as long as its in context and done well it should be good viewing.

I think they've learnt a lot from the mistakes of the prequels and hopefully with Lucas out of the way these should be a return to form.

My mate works as an engineer and told me earlier that he was on the star wars lot in pinewood today sorting out some pipes so i asked him if he saw anyone or anything, he said the sets covered up and nothing to see and is under the title foodles, i asked him to let me know when hes going again, hopefully next time it might be better info
