Actually he was never banned Weas. However, if he's not a good chap this time around..........

Why wait?
Save us having to listen to him talking about ****ing "TOYJACKING" and digging up the world's supply of SW toys in his back garden. Just ban him now!

cheers Lee - I thought I remembered them going to a dodgy character, and wondered what would happen to them at the time.

Cheek!!!

Sadly I've probably had more dealings with Richard than anyone else, as I used to be the customer interface when I ran Ultimart and his company Luminous Beings were listed on it. He recieved more complaints than any other dealer either because of the condition was not as described or in some cases repro weapons were supplied with them. The most annoying part was that this reflected bad on the site, rather than the person responsible. Luminous Beings done very well out of Ultimart and didn't have to pay any commison or fees in return, we even took credit card payments for him too as he did not have the facilities.

Fast forward about 6 years, I purchased a couple of goods from him and never recieved them, nor a refund, despite several offeres to send the receipt of posting, never recieved that too. Regardless of all the business and revenue he had out of me, he could not be bothered to come through with either to try and resolve that either.

I do see him from time to time at shows, mostly Newport, Cardiff or Bristol ones. He does frequent the DJ Fairs at the NEC although I did not see him at Mem this time.

He is one of the fundemental reasons why I don't believe the VC Palitoy Jawa, whilst everyone is so desperate to believe, but given the UK timing, distribution, packaging, the fact that so many old timers have never seen one is evidence enough, but throw Mr Torres into the mix as being the owner at one point (given his long track record and continuing 'refurbs') blows any chance of this being genuine out of the water for me.

I hope your friend gets it sorted out, and if he does, put in a word that he still owes me £120 too

cheers Dave - shame about the VC jawa, I wasn't aware that he'd been an owner

the chap has been in touch with Torres, who's denying all knowledge of the card being repaired

Yeah he denied all knowledge to me to, but he knows - as his auctions attest to the fact - as he does say in them that they are repaired. The lies roll of the guys tongue...

"save for one minor flaw-the figure name was cut out by the original owner but has since been very carefull restored with an original palitoy card front and back -this is virtually undetectable by the naked eye,you can feel it if you run your finger over the card ,but it has been painstakingly ,professionally done and is very hard to see"
