Star Wars Celebration Europe 3 - July 15th - 17th 2016

I have no clue what a Room Sale is can anybody explain it

I was clueless about these too until recently...

I found the answer at number 17 on this list:
http://www.galacticbinder.com/ptop-20-reasons-to-attend-star-wars-celebration-v.html

And now i'm looking forward to spending far too much money in one weekend! :D

I have two tickets for Saturday available for sale. From what I have read I can just transfer the names and email within showclix to do this, but feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Had an operation last week and so cannot attend as not allowed to do anything for 6-8 weeks.

Looking to get back what I paid for the tickets if I can!

Hi Davidev-from what I have read the tickets are non transferable, it says this on the Showclix page too. I did message the Star Wars Celebration Facebook page and again I was told nobody could transfer any tickets. According to reports from attendees of previous years though, there were people that were able to pick up tickets that they had bought from other people, under the original person's name with no problems.

Thank you! :)

I do have the option to change the name and email on the confirmation so it seems possible.

I live nearby though so I could meet whoever bought them at the venue if they were concerned and hand them over.

Definitely confirmed they can be transferred, well what you can do is change the name and email when you login to the ticket site. Hope it helps!! If no one pick them up here I am sure one of the FB site someone will pick them up especially if at cost price!! :D

Going to be there for all three days but on my own on the friday (wife joins me on Saturday) so would be great to meet up with fellow SWFUK's.

Can tickets be collected on the Thursday evening?

Anyone know how to get the tickets transferred to someone else's name?

I brought a 3 day pass but can't go any more. Tickets brought through the Celebration website.

Thanks.

Davidev - don't worry about the message above they can be transferred. The fact they don't WANT you to transfer is another thing.

Forgive me Richard_H, first celebration so going on what I've heard so far. You're probably right about the fact they don't want you to transfer tickets.

Have PM'ed you.

Any update on the room sales or when it will likely be announced? I thought it was always on a Friday late evening, but I heard someone mention Saturday!?

The auto list is very disappointing and the main stage schedules are a little light on the ground but.....

If this is your first celebration the light schedule will mean that you get the opportunity to try to get to everything you want to see, and for the first or second timer, there is plenty to do. Try to get to the Carrie fisher and Mark Hamill presentations as they are pretty good if you haven't seen them before. Also, the rogue one panel will have the goods.

There is no opening and closing ceremony mentioned yet and I don't know wether to rule out guests from tfa. Time will tell.

I expect a little more info this week.

Yeh i agree, its all a little disappointing at the moment.
It would help if they at least published the prices of the autographs to so we can budget! How can we decide if we can afford £145 for a photo with Mark if we dont know how much money we need to save for autos??!!

I'm really disappointed that Mark is only doing a panel on the friday. At most other conventions the major panels are replicated each day so all guests get a chance to see them.
It seems awfully convenient that the Mark Hamill panel and Rogue One panel are both on the Friday which happens to be the day they've sold the least tickets for.... :x

and yes, where the hell are the force awakens guests??? the 'key' artwork for the event is primarily made up of TFA and Rogue One cast and yet we have no guests from either!

oh well, i'll keep my fingers crossed for some more announcements soon!

To be fair, I have been to three celebrations so far and they have never repeated a panel at the same celebration. There will probably be a lot more filler content. These are just the big ones but there's loads of cool stuff that you might not have given much thought to initially.

What I think has pissed on this ones chips is the announcement and date for c8 in the us. They really need to go back to having a couple of years between each. Loads of Americans won't come now as they only have to wait for April.

The thing is, it's really what you make it. You will be with thousands of fans. It's a great experience.

I hope they screen the films on the outdoor screen. They did it last time it was in London. It was great sitting out on the grass watching with the other fans.

does anyone know the rules regarding taking photos with the celebs at their autograph tables? I know the bigger guests like Mark and Carrie wont allow it because it takes too much time but i was wondering about some of the others like Peter Mayhew and Anthony Daniels (i notice anthony isnt selling photo ops).
Does anyone know who allows it and who doest etc? Or do we thing the organisers are going to enforce a 'no posed photos' rule to force people to buy all the photoshoots?

an out door showing of the films would be great! my wife and i have actually booked to see TFA outside at a screening up here in Sheffield in august... here's the link if anyones interested:
