Zombie thread resurrection- I'm new, whaddya expect?
I work as a restaurant manager and got a call one Sunday afternoon- can we have a table for twenty, no wait, maybe thirty, or you know, could be forty? For dinner.
I wasn't happy, as we close early on Sunday, but okay, whatever, just tell me how many to set up for and don't **** me by showing up with twenty extra people.
Anyway, turns out it was the Comic Con Star Wars crew in our town and they wanted to hold a thank you dinner for Peter Mayhew.
They all turn up (yes, it was more like sixty people).
Peter Mayhew has been cheauffered there - he's in a wheelchair but he can walk when necessary and has a blue light sabre walking cane - very cool. He was affable and a gentleman but clearly tired.
