Star Wars Activity Books

Does anyone remember the activity books you used to be able to get? They were from about 1978 (pre-ESB) and had puzzles, stories and even recipes for star wars related food (chocolate chewie turds or something). I recall them having some cool Mcquarrie concept drawings in them (x- wings in hangers etc). I'd love to see a picture if anyone has one?

top 5 are dated 1997 so ignor those,but still some cool line drawings in them.
bottom 3 more interesting.first one is totally in french!!!!!!!
second 1 has recipes in it,gamorrean guard's bowling game,bib fortuna's hand,tooth face???? puppet fun,and more.
third 1 lots of puzzles,appears to be 6 in the series,mazes,dot to dot fun,picture puzzle book,monster activity book,things to do and make,word puzzle book.

you still can but you have to be there at daybreak in amongst the scavangers,it's no good getting there 10 ish because any vintage stuff on display is usually way over priced because they've seen it somewhere at such and such a price.try convincing them that the price they are quoting was for a mip sample.

Not quite like those, although thats a nice set you have there. They were released in 1978 I think and were square. They may have been supplied as part of the fan club but I can't ever remember being in it :?

i saw a jipo at a car boot last year with a fx-7 and it had its arms bitten off, no paint on it and it was in the worsed stated i think ive ever seen a figure in ...and they wanted 5 quid for it ... i just laughed in there face and walked away.....i hope i offened them :twisted: :wink:
