hi guys,

am on the slippery slope, started collecting loose figures, now moved on to carded... but I want to get the star cases to preserve any ideas the best place to get them and what price I should be paying??

cheers

Phil

To be honest mate- star cases are good for posting figures but if I was you I'd get acrylic instead.

PM Christian or contact him at GWAcrylic.

They are fantastic for displaying your figures.

or instead of forking out £2 or £3 for a starcase for every moc you buy or £10+ or so for acrylic for every moc you buy in future which over a few years will really build up money wise,
just use the use the same amount of money or less than you would have in the long run now upfront to buy a secure glass display this is what i done !
ive no acrylic or starcases on my moc mines are just wrapped in crystal clear acid free uv bags nice and safe behind my glass ,
starcases are rubbish really they arent clear and there too deep so you cant appreciate the card as much , acrylics just too expensive if youv loads of moc . acrylic cases are obviously best for high price moc tho

Acrylic cases are expensive but they transform the display of a cardback. I only have one that I bought at ff4. I keep it with my favourite moc of the moment in the living room. They look amazing. My advice is to buy 4 or 5 acrylic for your favourite moc' s. Star cases are good, just nowhere near as good as acrylic.

Thanks guys, have just got the cases from jez they look great Cheers mate, but may have to go to display case eventually

Ps how do I leave feedback for him.... can't find his thread and he was a great guy to deal with

Seriously go for acrylic!

Persoanlly for me I never spend more than £20-£30 on a MOC. Don't see the point in Acrylic as I don't sit there at home pouring over them. I get them out occasionally to look at thats it.
If they **** up so what they're hardly going to pay the mortgage if I sell em.
