Square edge bubbles

Hey guys I have a question hopefully you guys can answer for me, I was offered a ROTJ carded obi wan a month or so ago, but I turned him own when he showed me the pics, the reason I did this was because the corners on the bubble had square edges, now on all my ROTJ cards the all have round corners on the bubbles the only square corners I have seen are on tri-logo cards was I right in thinking it was fake?
