The best way to tell the difference is by a good photo, the moulded legs are a lot more detailed. Or if you can see the peg holes, they will be all tan coloured rather than blue.
If the gloves have paint flecks missing but the legs don't then it could be moulded (like Gusties)
If you've got a not so good photo to work from its more about ruling out the mint painted leg versions.
The obvious clues are specks of blue on the legs/feet, it's most likely that these are the blue plastic showing through.
If there is tan colour directly where the base of the holster meets the leg then its a painted leg version, there is always a halo of blue on the moulded version but some painted versions are like that too so its tricky.
These loose variants show some painted clues
2nd from the left has the brown under the holster and the middle one has a tiny speck of blue on his leg.
The two right ones are very similar, the paint at the top of the legs on the moulded legs version is messier and a slightly different shade to the torso (again like gusties) but thats not always a reliable way of telling as paint fades.
