Spencer's MOC collection

Just thought i'd post a few pics of my collection, I collect factory sealed cards that are around the c8+ condition, with no cracked/split bubbles/lifting bubbles, and no pen markings or touch ups.

I really like the jedi cards as they were the first cards i had as a kid.

Sorry about the bad picture quality, my camera's not great and doesn't really do the figures justice. Some of the cards look quite faint, but they actucally arent't it's just my camera.Some of my star cases are manky too and need replacing. My aim is to collect 96 figures, then move onto vehicles/playsets.

I see a mix of "SW", "ESB", "ROTJ" and "POTF" cards there, are you aiming to get each figure on any particular card back, or just whatever comes along (in decent nick)?

Yeah, pretty much what ever comes along, i'm not overly fussed about what cards, just nice to have a mixture.I'm more interested in gettting them in the condition bracket i look for. To be honest, i don't think i'll ever look to do certain runs of any kind as it can get very expsensive as i'm sure you know. Just want them in really nice displayble condition really.

Just got yak face out of the way, so the other 27 or so shouldb't be too exspensive and i hope to complete the 96 i'm after within the next year hopefully. Then i'm going to move onto playsets etc.

At the moment they're all in boxes in the loft, however, its a dedcent loft with lots of empty space.I think once i've done my carded set, then when the vehicles/playsets start arriving, i'll convert the loft to a display area.

Hey good going on the Kenner LXW ESB 45a MOC, thats a tough one to find.
Until a year ago i didnt think it actually existed.

it appears looking at the pics that there are a few with sticker damage removal, however, thats just stickers that have been removed on the star cases and not the figures. I try to avoid cards with sticker damage too if possible.

You got quite a few there that would be worthy of a decent grade a AFA if your in to graded carded figures

i've never really been a big fan of AFA for various reasons, but i do appriciate that they do provide alot of confidence to the market especially as reproductions etc are far more a common place these days.I've always wondered what grades some would get, but i'd worry too much sending them to the states with bad experience i've had with sendings stuff over seas.

Spencer if you ever did sell them it would be worth sending a few off to AFA it woud put a lot more value on your collection. Whats your next couple of buys going to be or is it what ever comes on ebay at the time

Well i've just purchased a yak face for Ã'£250 which you can do without this time of year but i've been after one for while so wanted to grab it while i had the chance, so i think i'll give it a rest until after xmas. sith smith has several potf last 17 i'm after so i think i'll be droping him a line to sort a deal out.
