spammers on this site!!

edd, is there any way we can ban or stop spammers on the site, its really annoying and they shouldnt be on here!!!

I think its just a problem we cant fix mate. Unless every member is vetted but I don`t know if Edd can do that

yeah i agree with smith, i like the spammers, it gives us someone to vent our anger on!

what ive done is made it now that new people who sign up need to confirm via email. hopefully that means the automated spam bots cant sign up any more, as they are no doubt signing up with bogus email addresses.

It never happened on the old site so I don't know why they have suddenly come to this one. :?

Although it may only be one sad person !! :lol:
