Things can't be changed, it's just the way it is. Maybe easy to say for me as I had no interest in any of the items (even if I had the money that is), but I think we should all move along, ignore this thread completely and next time we better remember this lesson learned.

See on one hand I see where he might be coming from, if we put ourselves in Allan's shoes and imagine we just found a bunch of old coins or war medals or even vintage teddy bears that we wanted shot of then found out they were worth money, would we do a similar thing shopping around for the person who would pay the most? I suspect we would.
On the other hand, honesty goes a long long longgggg way with potential buyers and being truthful with your intentions with something like this is all part of gaining trust. It was obvious that putting them on ebay wouldn't go unnoticed by members here, everyone checks ebay after all..just a shame we heard about it on the grapevine instead of from the horses mouth.
Maybe you guys interested in these items can resolve your differences with Allan if you really want to add them to your collections? Just get some communication going and it's probably better if Allan starts up an actual for sale thread where you can all express interest and he can start over. Not sure if people want to go there any more but it would be nice to see these end up with SWF members who won't U grade them or something retarded (or for them to just vanish into anonymous collections never to see the light of day again!)

I declared to the seller that I would be interested on behalf of a friend but that interest has subsided now Im afraid. Im not sure if the other party is still in dialogue with the seller but I no longer am. I will pick one of these up one day when the timing and the situation feel right.

I think we should start charging for our appraisals of items. Set up a joint paypal account and charge for our services. I will help any longtime member on here (More than 12 posts about ebay items and tits) If they are unsure about value.....the others I will either crack on them or say nothing......Most of the time crack on them. :lol:

I basically know nothing about these figures and came on here to find out about them and get a price which with great help from Joe and other members in this forum, I have.
But that's just from this forum I then wanted to make sure that the prices given were a good estimate i wanted a second opinion I guess.
I then took it to the other forum which was pointless really I got loads of messages with offers around £50 pounds and they just seemed to take the piss.
Sending me messages saying I was some guy called billy and telling me to **** off.
So I thought I would try eBay to get my second opinion.
I don't know if you understand or people might think I'm cheeky for thinking that I needed a second opinion and not totally going with what this forum has said.
I wanted to take my time because I don't think there would be any worse feeling selling it on to someone then finding out it could be worth more. And with my dad moaning saying make sure you get the right price and don't just take one forums view on it.
I felt like this forum was bullying me into selling it on this forum and no where else, but I didn't want to do so without a second opinion. I feel like its me against the whole forum which it actually is really.
And after this I feel like I have to sell to this forum so I guess it kinda worked. Lol
I suppose what I'm saying is I never really had the balls to commit to a deal without knowing a second opinion.
That's why I didn't want to reply to people because I still wasn't sure on a price.
I'm trying to arrange a time to meet frank so we can come to a deal for the two woolworths baggies.

Yes I have about 50 carded figures from rotj
Boxed mlc-3, int-4, ast-5 etc about 10 of these
Then loads of single figures that are in packs of 8, sold cheap I guess by shops
to get rid of them.
I also have some of the space figures which I'm confused by.
