Joe said:The best thing you can do if you want to sell them and get the best return is put them up for a silly price and accept offers - after a certain period of time you can accept the highest one at your discretion or just stick them up on ebay and see what happens with a high reserve. It's not the greatest way to see how high people will bid things up because a reserve usually puts people off from bidding and its a bit of a time waster for those that actually do want to buy them from you but if you are clueless and the offers are coming in all over the place you could at least test the market that way.

Joe said:I meant list them here for a high price and take offers from the members if you were clueless..but after getting 7 pages of advice here then taking them to another forum for even more advice, you have to admit you are no longer clueless!
As for the ebay suggestion- I said list them but with a high reserve (i.e 99p start) and see what price they reach, again that was at the beginning of all of this before anyone offered you money or helped with valuations and would have helped you get an idea of market value at the time.
What it seems like you did was read all the advice and valuation help then just list them on ebay for a silly price without letting anyone know why and then come back here to ask people to PM you if still interested?
Please remember, we don't know you from adam, who knows if you are trustworthy...lets say you agree to sell to Frank for £400 and someone on ebay offers you £500, do you then go back to Frank and start offering him the chance to counter the offer - therefore creating a behind the scenes auction? Nobody wants that situation - it's just crap.
What if you sell to someone who contacts you on ebay then pull out of a sale with a member on here who you are in talks with? OR worse..what if you sell them on ebay AND on here and do a runner??
Ok I am making assumptions on you being a scammer but still..who knows what is going on if you aren't being completely transparent! It was mentioned quite early on in this thread that trust would be an issue considering you had already signed up here and left people high and dry after vanishing and now everyone is scratching their heads again wondering what on earth you are doing?
Perhaps you misunderstood my ebay suggestions but if you had decided to put them on ebay on your own terms after all the discussion that took place and the help you received it would have been nice to have posted here to say "Hey look guys, here is the deal - listing them up on ebay so don't get scared if you see them there, this is purely for my own sake so I can see if any offers come in and if they don't or they aren't higher than the members have offered on this forum I will be back to sell them on here in a proper sales format and not through my valuation thread or by taking offers via PM"
At least that is how I would have done it..
Josh said:You may as well cross me off your list, Allen. I won't be making an offer anymore on the 3 pack. It is something I would of gone heavily after for my collection, but I am happy to live without.
Good luck with your ebay sales.
Josh said:Allan. Why send me a PM NOW with an offer of 375quid?
I got in touch with you twice, without even an acknowledgement of my interest from you in return. And now it's all backfired on you, you finally want to come to the party?
As much as I would love to buy it...since it's $400 less than what you want on eBay....I don't think you could pay me now to take it.
Thanks anyway. Good luck with your sales.

This post didn't feel right from word one. "hi my name's AllenMark"
... "is it??..."
"No it's Steve..." Do me a favour.
ebay fees are only free for 99p listings (more lying i think). £850 listings are £1.40 to list. ebay + paypal fees will be over £100 on each item.
Josh said::shock:  Of course you would say that  You've got nothing left to say.
Funny thing is, I probably would of given you the grand for them in the end. These are something I have wanted for quite a while. 8)
Now, I would rather see them burn!

With regards to interest - I too had PM conversations with you and thought we were sorting out a date for me to come and have a look at them ?
