Just wondering what you lot make of the Carrgher situation.

You think he's right to bin International footy, cos let's be honest McClown is a terrible manager (I did tell you that befroe the FA employed him) and everyone knows the England team he will pick week in week out. Or, is Carragher being a spoilt brat and throwing his toys out of the pram cos he isn't getting picked?

A good thing for the pool if he retires, but he's being a spoilt brat. He's always been 4th or 5th choice and that's not going to change any time soon.

I know you all you scousers will disagree but I've always felt he was overated. He's a good Premiership defender, he's not world class. But you can see his point of view when the crippled woodgate gets picked in front of him

Never heard oif him or that tevez

I think he was more pissed off about Ledley "played twice all season" King getting picked in front of him. I guess he realised if by 28 he still wasn't getting a decent shot at, at least becoming a back up for Terry/Ferdinand then he never would.

Definately good news for Liverpool.

he is a good defender but not a great international one, but he is a good squad player as he can fit in anywhere across the back. so i think he should have waited until after the euro's at least before he made himself look like a bit of a baby.

He probably anticipated taking a load of **** over his decision and still had the bollocks to take it. Not sure it was advisable to phone in to that radio show though because the dickhead on it was deliberately playing Devil's advocate to get some controversy going.

As a Liverpool fan I'm glad he is retiring. It's nice if England win but I'm usually more concerned about our players coming back shagged out or injured.

The whole England set up is a joke from top to bottom. There needs to be a good sort out at the FA and get some people in who give a **** about football in instead of the nice little QUANGO of useless knobheads they have there at the minute.
