Had an offer accepted on a house last week. It has a loft conversion that will be for all my boy stuff. So it looks like I get to display my palitoys at last!
That's true Steve. I used to use a small oil radiator which had an LCD screen and a temp sensor. I set it so it wouldn't drop below 10 degrees in winter and in summer you could open the velux windows if there are any. The remaining condensation can be dealt with using the granules and collectors you can get off ebay or from caravan centres for not too much dosh.

As the others have said loft conversions / attics are one of the worst rooms to display / store your collection i knew a guy who put his AFA graded MOC's in his loft for 6 months when he went back up to check them out they were totally wrecked. Simon posted some very good advice and there is a lot of protective measures out there if you plan to use this environment. I would defo take the time to do a full assessment on the room conditions (consider seasonal changes as well) and make sure you have it set up properly before moving anything valuable up there.
i used to keep all mine in the loft. Dont do it temperature changes to much. AFA cases get condensation in them. Also to hot in the summer. The tapes on MISB dry out and lift
