Josh is a good guy slim, he is only asking for peace of mind , Allowing people to check Ebay feedback is a great way to show you are trustworthy, let's be honest 2-3 weeks ago none of us knew who you were.

I might have been interested in a few things as well but I normally ask for peoples feedback if they are relatively new, as I said don't take it personally

Can you PM your Ebay user ID to Jay? Since you have dealt with him, is he allowed to see your Ebay feedback?
If he checks it and gives the all clear that is good enough for me
I don't need to see it myself if that is the problem.

I can see both sides of the argument about keeping E-bay name and forum name seperate. Heck some people don't even like their real name known at all. New sellers are sometimes asked to post the item(s) and receive payment when it gets there. I think this is a bit extreme. I started my feedback thread on RS labelled "Aussie James is an Idiot" I supplied my Ebay name just because no one knew me. But my sense of humour is not for everyone and I reckon half the people still think I'm an idiot(they're probably right :wink: ) I don't think anyone is unhappy with you Slim- just a bit jealous/shocked you've done what some have taken years to do- if not still doing :lol: It's almost unbelievable. Fair bump play on

As most long term members know my user I.d is the same as my forum I.d jaymassive619 anyone wanting to buy from me is free to check my ebay a/c. I was a suggestion for slim to help boost his chance of selling as buyers like to know who they are dealing with and sharing your ebay I.d goes a long way to proving that you are genuine (plus as ebay hides bidder identites anyway sharing it has no impact on anything)

Its upto slim if he wants to share it or not I was just providing some sound advice

Slim you will build up some feedback from your recents sales once you know that your buyers are happy and the transaction is complete just ask them to drop a comment in the feedback threads for you.

Er.... for the record I don't think anyone is telling him how to sell his items!
Asking for some Trade feedback from ebay etc isn't an unreasonable request Todd, I wouldn't of thought it was anyway! Have you just taken a sellers word for it everytime over the years, even when it has come to buying some of your high end items?
They are your things to sell Slim and you can do what you like! I guess if you don't want to provide any feedback that is up to you also.Just seems a little strange :?
