So I bought a 85 graded c3p0 a while ago and decided to liberate him from the plastic ...

The figure has very tight limbs ... and no wonder! On close inspection, a previous owner had wound fine black cotton thread around his shoulder to tighten it up.

Have removed the thread, and his arm's now looser than a wizard's sleeve. :lol:

I wonder how many thousands more have been graded with people using this technic. Another negative to grading.

A good way to make your shaky shiny man stiff again if you intend to keep him, I'm thick and would never have thought to do that

Surely this is exactly the sort of thing any halfway near competent grader should be on the lookout for? I'm no fan of grading, but if you're going to call yourself a grading company and charge your customers money, at least do your bloody job properly!
