This piece is the production budget for ROTJ.

The following is the description of the item when it was for sale a few years back.

A binder containing the production budget from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Housed in a blue plastic three-ring binder, this binder consists of 140 mimeographed typescript pages of accounting information from the production. Each typed page outlines the production expenses across a grid with columns for account number (recipient), their rates, the amounts per location (Elstree Studios, ILM, etc.) and the total amounts at the far right. At the back of the binder is a single page memo outlining the computer key codes attributed to the film production accounts. The pages show minor wear due to production use and age; however the item remains in fine condition. Dimensions: 25 cm x 30 cm x 4 cm (10" x 11 ¾" x 1 ½")

My favourite page being the wardrobe budget. IRG's instead of ERG's, Scooter Troopers, Pig Guard and only 3 of them.

That prodution budget binder is super cool ! And that baggie find is not to shabby either

Great piece of history with the binder, really not the sort of thing you see every day and it's a shame Kenner didn't keep the name Scooter Trooper

Thanks for sharing.

I think Laurence has just owned this thread :P

Don't encourage me. I had to show restraint yesterday and only put those items up.

I'm sure there will be far more jaw dropping items posted on here shortly.

Well you need to be encouraged!
Some outstanding items  8)
I'm amazed that costs list has seen the light of day. So were there only 3 Gamorrean Guards ever used?
I'm sure i remember seeing more in certain scenes?
So was the overall budget for ROTJ $26 million?

And Warwick Davis got a measly $100!
Not bad for skiving school though.

great thread guys love this, have nothing rare i fear, apparently my moc maccau die cast slave is tricky to find unbeknownst to me lo l but nothing on your scales!

wow, what a piece, id love to flip through that, I bet there must be all sorts of gems hidden in there, such as they had 10 imperial dignitary's, thank god we only got the one crap figure.

If this thread was on ebay it would be full of thousands of ******** common items and modern stuff.

I've let most of my pre production stuff go over the last few years but still have my R5 proofs and cromalins. Most of the pieces are unique one of a kind but if I had to choose a piece that stands out... R5-D4 unproduced POTF proof card. It's the only POTF proof card of any sort for this figure and not even a carded mock up exists.

Again, this isn't truly expensive but it's a hard piece to find.
In keeping with your '3PO theme

Can you tell us more about this, is it one of the Spanish comic figure prototypes?

Pulsar that 3po is great what's the story behind it ? Prototype ?

I think Laurence has just owned this thread :P

That Tri Leia is ace too Darkest 8)

As for my green protocol droid, i picked this up years ago when i used to collect anything '3PO, R2 or droid related.
Wouldn't think it was a prototype though, more bootleg perhaps?

Ive prompted Vinny to come along.
He will tell you what it is pal.

Forgot about this little one and tbh don't know overly to much about it but apparently it is very hard to find with the blue flower as is usually found with pink and yellow I think ? Can anyone share some knowledge on this ?

Now this is a Thread I am loving.

Laurence some great items you have, I thought you sold up your Amanaman run actually. Good to see you kept some of the items.

Love the Period POTF Sign off sheets from Tom, I got a 3PO one off his first lot he sold behind closed doors.

The Spanish Comic 3po show is a bootleg I believe, There is a rare white one known, only ever seen one of them, had a few of us stumped as no one had seen it before and sold on ebay I believe. You can track down most of them in various colours and are on ebay quite frequently.

Now where to start with rare items :D

How about a Rare C-3PO Conceptual Vintage Can holder. Its a one of a kind Piece. Diet Pepsi can use and one will notice it has Cincinnati Ohio location on it, the same area where the old Kenner address was.

C-3PO's Hands have been melted at the wrists and manipulated so they fit around the holder bit of the Can.

Yes, I do have hawk eye's in those situations, Its because who posted the video really, I know there was going to be some treasures in there. He has shown a few runs before but I know he has an amazing collection people haven't seen unless they have been to his house I believe.

You managed to locate any more of the 2D you are missing?

Yeah always lots of other gems tucked away in the background of his photos :D

Not picked up any more pieces for the run in a few years now. Just the ESB 48c and POTF cromalin left to find but have kind of given up on them. Not really buying pre production these days.
