Should SWFUK Ban the Sale of U-Graded Items?

I have vote yes as well, for the most part 99% its a bad practice, but IMO there should be/is the odd exception to the rule, 1. I have my MP's done in this manner as I do like to see the baggies have come from a sealed mailer (winge on my part I know) & then there are things like the up & coming palitoy find at Vectis, they have a sealed case of Palitoy Death star play sets, surely it would be an idea to have something like that U graded if its going to be opened no matter what??

I am totally against ripping figures off bubbles & taking ships & play sets out of sealed boxes, but however untasteful to some I think there is a very small niche for the U grade, shame those that do this for profit do not feel the same though which is where this has ended up.

I think i'm in a minority here, but I like items that are left in their box no matter how boring it may look. The pull for me is that it's still like it was 40 years ago today.

I don't even like to see Frank selling the box fresh mailers. It may be the only original distribution box of those mailers, even if it is only an open boring brown factory box with contents stamped on the outside. To me it's a piece of Star Wars figure history and how they were distributed. If it's the only one, once empty it will go from being the only original box of mailers to being an original box, and something no one else or I will ever own. I'm still considering buying one though, as it's already in progress. :roll:

A U for unopened would appeal to me far more than a U for Uncirculated.

Ban all U grades. Not all collect for how things look.

We should be inline with what UKgraders have announced, and allow mailers but not the rest.

I agree it's a landslide victory in favour of the rule but I'm not sure the mailers/shipping box debate is so clear-cut, it looks pretty 50/50 to me. New poll for that perhaps?
