Shops selling figs?

Thanks again for all the shop suggestions.

Funny to hear Essex come up - I grew up not a million miles from Chelmsford myself - sunny Maldon! ...What a hole!

Has anyone made it to the modellers loft yet?

Tank sums it up perfectly really (take some big cash)

Sunny maldon??i'v been there and it's yet another prime example of essex at it's very best

Cheers stef

ive searched the net for info on the retroman near spitalfields market but found nothing, was hoping to pop down there for a wander on saturday so if any of you have visited before could you point me in the right direction please?

This wont help much mate really but he was almost dead middle, last time I went was a year or so ago,if he is still about and selling the same stuff then it would be worth a visit.

Hope that helps (probably not though)

cheers mate, i'll go an have a butchers early saturday morning an see if the blokes still there, failing that i'll mosey on down to caterham an see if i can find a few treats in the loft, either way i'll report back with my finds. :D

I was passing through Notting Hill today so I decided to check out RETRO MAN on Pembridge Road and see if they had any vintage Star Wars figures.

I was only able to find one very banged up Luke Jedi (Skin/paint torn off face) for £2.00. Only good if you prefer it where the rancor wins and uses luke as a tooth-pick! :D

I also found another place across the road called MIMI FIFI that sells alot of PVC figures. They did have a couple of vintage figures with weapons; Lando (no/teeth) £30.00, B-Wing Pilot £25.00, Prune Face £28.50. There was also IG-88, Hammerhead, AT-AT Commander. Once again the prices on all these were £20 plus.

Bloody hell how the times have changed then,I did say that it was over a year ago I actually visited his stall, cant believe those prices for loose figures either, everyone outside of the hobby believes any old vintage star wars is worth a shed load of money,I had a guy ask a fiver for a 1 armed klaatu at a boot fair because "they are rare and collectable"

Out of interest did retroman have anything else of note on his stall?had some decent transformers last time I was there?

Cheers stef

Nah, no Transformers either.

There was a couple of POTF2 items, however that ain't my cup of tea.

He had more antiques (Cups & Plates) than anything else.

I look forward to hearing about any other area reports.
