Shameless Plug - but not what you may think!

Hey guys

I got my better half a pyrography machine (wood burning) a while ago as a gift & she has been well away with it (only took me 15 years to get a gift right :lol: ), she's getting pretty good with it IMO if I do say so & she did me a SW design, I liked it that much that I presumed others might as well so she has been avidly doodling away at them for the past week & has put a few together, she normaly makes name plates signs ets but I think she is capable of a lot more in time, they are not her own design's but I presume they are the first worked in to wood like this.

so if anyone is interested in one or wants any custom work doing she is up for a challenge as you can't get the dam machine pried from her clutches :lol: but its really nice to see her with a hobby she loves, they do take a long time to do & I would say there must be 4 hours work in each piece at least, so does £20 sound fair?, I hope its ok to post this here & if not please just remove the post mod's.

They look fantastic mate, I remember doing this stuff at school in DT, very basic stuff but ****ing hard to do neatly. Very talented lady you have there. Would she be up for doing a Yoda one Frank??

Thanks for all the kind comments guys, she really appreciated your input as she still thinks she is no good at it :? women eh :lol: I think she is really getting there with these & have a couple she has done for myself including a wicked tribal face.

I had a word & she (Lorraine) is on the hunt for some Yoda designs for you Chris so no problem, she has found a nice one already tonight but it looks pretty complicated to do but I think it will be nice when done, so got you covered Chris

Its not just SW she does either so if anyone wants any kind of design doing I am sure she will be happy to put on together for you, like kids room plaques open/closed signs - you name it she can usually churn something creative out to your speck :wink:

These are awesome mate, but I advise you to be careful of selling designs made by someone other than your wife,
unless they are ok'd by the original artists, copyright issues these days are turning out to be a real bitch....

I had considered that tundra, but none of the art work she has done had any copyright on them I was sure to check that first as I don't want to piss on anyone's parade, but many thanks for thinking of her/me its greatly appreciated m8

Thanks m8, but every penny will be for my partner not me m8, it will pay for a new pyro machine if she gets enough sold as she has seen one she wants but its a lot of wonga, all the design's she does are ones easily found publicly on line, first thing I said to her when she started was be careful what you do re copyright

They look excellent m8. What size are they generally?

Smallest one is 10 x 7" with the actual picture being 3 x 7" & the biggest is 13.5 x 7" with the pic being 5.5 x 9" but she is willing to do them in pretty much any size even poster size as I bought her a projector for that reason as I wanted some huge ones knocking up.
