iam a bit pissed off with an r's posting someone kindly brought it to my attention......... so this isnt a mission statement, however.......




any body that disagrees with what ive wrote on there then p.m me as i dont want to cause upset "ON HERE" with guys i have dealt with over the last few years.........

ive been getting a lot of snotty email from several people.....

heres a reply that i sent..

"i really dont try and scam...you dont even know me you tosser.... why dont you read the auction ......it clearly states that there original opened packaging.... if iam telling people what iam selling then how the hell iam i scammming....."

Well I posted over there as well but I didn't "call you out" or drag your name through the mud.

By posting links to your pictures here I just wanted to show them that the reseals you have done are easily noticeable and that if they have to do some detective work then it's not that hard to work things out.

I still think you should have put them in the resealed section or instead of copy pasting "Ask questions" you could have copy pasted "reseal"

It is also true a collector would spot these a mile off, but not every collector has been around for years, some people buy for others etc etc.

I don't have a problem with you as I said over on RS i saw your auctions a while back and always thought you stated each auction exactly as it was but if you haven't gone to the same lengths to describe each and every reseal as what they are then there is a possibility however small that someone will bid on these and not realise.

This just sprung to mind as well:

If you put reseal on every auction clearly you wouldn't have to answer lots of questions
Therefore saving you plenty of time behind the computer answering the same question over and over.

I cant believe that if people have a small issue with someone over a few days late on postage or not happy with how something is listed and are a member of rs the first thing they do is post on the site to 'watch out for this seller'. If you read through some of the posts its so sad it makes you laugh at how much time some people must have on their hands. There are some genuine posts on there but i think han has become a victim of someone who feels they must be the police of sw on ebay.

Very true sometimes it can feel like a witch hunt and it shouldn't.

So from me I hope you haven't taken every comment to heart!

I think your reseals are easy to spot but you need to be clearer on some auctions - over and out !

I've just seen a card back i sold Han last year listed as MOC in the original carded section on ebay. That listing should be in the resealed section and the listing should say reseal not MOC. I'm appalled that stuff i've sold is being listed this way in an obvious attempt to catch out newbies.

Personally, I feel that all of this could have been stopped before it even started if you had made clearer that they were reseals.

Yes I agree that Rebeltwats.com is full of just that and they do like to victimise people but I dont think that your response was the best way of going about it either - I know that you are angry but its just fuelled their fire.

Jason has a very good point too, they really shouldnt be listed in MOC's as they're not MOC!

I hope it all gets sorted out Han.

..........you know i really want to do the right thing and i was toying with the idea of going through all of my auctions and giving a over kill description on them but to honest ive had a few emails from the 'other side' which are just down right nasty, "i get the feeling somebodys mother didnt tell them that they were loved"

in some cases as the content of the emails ive been getting sounded as though i'd raped them and not at all like there had just wanted to point out there view...so i feel like ive been kicked in the gutts a bit and iam feeling a bit like saying **** you and not doing anything as iam still within my rights as a ebay seller.....

To be honest han i emailed you through ebay about them and you said to me "naughty i know" so you know exactly what you were doing.

You know full well your auctions are set up to trap newbie collectors and late bidders in my opinion its an unethical method of selling.

Anybody else doing this would have been called out by the collecting communities in exactly the same way you have.

I dont beleive however people should attack you personally but opinions can and should be expressed.

I wonder how many people try and start paypal claims when they end up with an overpriced reseal. But hey you know you have deliberately made sure that your back is covered!

To me its shows a blatent disregard for the collecting community for an established member to stoop to this level.

I know you did add reseal further down and in small writing plus the original opened section too but it is a crafty way of doing it

Wasn't sure whether to chime in here or not. Han has always seemed to across as a decent chap on here and I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. However Jason and JayM make good points.

In response to what Lee just posted, i looked at a couple of the auctions, and the word 're-seal' wasn't always included in them. For example:

The only indication that this card is a re-seal is that says '(Opened)' next to the packaging tab. Maybe I'm a bit stupid and naive, but often I only think to scour the wording of the main description text section. The first bit of the description states that its not a recard - but there's no mention that its a re-seal. As JayM says, if I stumbled acorss this with just a minute or so to go, or my g/f (who knows enough to know I would love a card like this - if it was a true moc) found it, we could easily have bid a fair bit of money. Sorry, but it seems a little on the sly side to me.
