Please play on your PC and don't need to be installed, hitting F12 brings up a load/save state option which can be used on any of the Amiga games they offer.

I challange anyone to a sensi match. I spent way too many hours on this back in the day  .

I played it a lot but was crap. Just like kick off.
I prefered games like World Cup carnival 86 where the ball stuck to your foot

Now we're talking! Sensi might just be my favourite video game ever. Played the various versions for years on my old Amiga, never brilliant at it but unbeatable vs a mate or a few in a league with a few beers n smokes.

Found a SNES cartridge for 25p at a boot fair... just need the console now.

Got the plug n play, shame you can't save your progress but great for a kickabout. The old flicked diving header was always a joy to pull off, or the little lifted flicks. I find modern footy games so over-complicated - just kick the damn ball! One button to rule them all! 8)

Also loved Wizball by the Sensible boys, played that for hours on end with a buddy back in the day. Classic times.

Nice to see so much love for Sensi

It had it all, Kick Off was good but this took it all to a new level. Me an Mumbo whiled away hours on this game Brentford v Chelsea
Bob booker, Andy Townsend quality

Hours of fun, I have got it on my Wii and PC.

Who threw out a Sensi challenge? Was it you Poncho?

............maybe we could do something at FF

One button to rule them all

Winner stays on, love it. I forgot about winner stays on after being spoilt by 8 player Pro Evo Soccer.

I loved Kick-off but the problem was you could on really run in straight lines. I remember te best way to score was bomb it down the side line and cut it diagonally to the corner of the area and smash it into the top corner...never failed if you got it right.

but sensible soccer was a whole new level. The after touch was ridiculous, not even Beckham himself could have bent it that much.

What a game and the final chapter SWOS was IMO the best footie game there's ever been, it had everything 8)

My love of footie games started with Matchday on the Spectrum 128k, followed by Kick Off and then Sensible on the Amiga 500's up to ISS on the N64 and finally Pro Evo on the PS formats. I was never a FIFA fan though :D

Ever since Kick Off I'd been playing in leagues against friends and have spent too many days locked in a bedroom having a wiggle  it's been a while now though.

Back to Sensible, I was that good I could play one handed 8) had to be the old black zip sticks with the cheese slices, get it stuck down on a good sized hardback book and boom I was unbeatable

Always had the upper hand on the Chubbs too :D

Awesome to see so much love for the mighty Sensi. Often used to be Steaua Bucurest or Romania so I could yell 'Lacatuuuuuuss!!' after scoring a last minute curling 30 yard screamer. :D

It coincided with a brilliant era for football, so many legendary teams and players like Jean-Pierre Papin, Gheorghe Hagi, and errrm Keith Curle.

Street Fighter 2 turbo 8)

There are some big words bouncing around this thread, talk is cheap! All round to my house after school to sort this out on SNES, Sega, Atari ST and Aiga

swos is the best football game ever. the depth for a game that is 20 years old is still better than any of the shite around now.

a 20 year career, where you can take a team from Div3 to Prem, get offerred international jobs, have to go around the globe finding eligible players to select for your team, play qualifying season for national tournaments, play tournaments, get bigger jpb offers.. amazing. Players would also come through your 'reserve' team and some could become first team players. and thats before designing your own tactical system.

i still play it on windows xp (which sits on my mac).
