How about taking before and after photos and restoration pictures, rather than videos showing the process.

The problem is the knowledge that you are imparting onto other people who do not have the honest intentions that you do.

I work for the electricity board. I can bypass an electricity meter. I'm not going to post a video of me showing you how to do it though.

Where do you stand on posting a diagram of how to do it?

...and hiding the plans in a droid for safe keeping

If it's not this guy then someone else will eventually. I just think it's something that we all have to live with in the collecting world now.

Sorry to say that repro decals have been around as long as repro weapons and many of us could be unaware that they exist in our own collections.

Or alternatively perhaps not give out scans of sticker sheets/card backs/boxes/dt sabre measurements we have to people who ask for them. It may not stop the process but it will slow it down.

its a lot of effort to make these beat up toys look the part again, i think he does a great job of bringing back to life knackered looking toys, would the average scammer be bothered to go through all that for a couple more quid, these can be had pretty cheaply on ebay.

I couldn't be arsed going through all that, rather just save up and buy 1 AFA graded.  Which makes me think are you going to try sending that AT-ST to AFA/UKG. Worth a try. :? If I new how to bypass the electric meter I could afford a 'U' graded one and get it cased next to it's box.
