From the thread on RS it looks like the regulars there didn't support the front page article (or the selling or repros) either.

I just can't believe someone wanted to spotlight this as a "good thing" on the front page.

I was a member of RS for 10 years, so please don't hold it against me.

But to get back on topic, it looks like the moderator who originally posted that article is now defending his reasoning in that RS thread. He says it was to make people aware that these fakes were out in the marketplace. But it sounded more like a glowing endorsement to me.

He praised him and had a link to his site. **** that guy.

My biggest fear with all this is that it will only make Ormes crap more popular - alright, no-one is going to come out and say it but I bet a few people in the hobby are now aware of his products and fancy buying one

He did not want a debate. He is back peddling. He was clear in his intent to promote and praise Orme. The guy is spineless as far as I am concerned.

I'm amazed by their holier than thou attitude. They ****ed up because one of the admins made a huge misjudgement. Yet they still can't seem to concede they ****ed up and say sorry.

The article is gone, but it's all down to us being stupid and not understanding the guy wrote the article to provoke debate and not down to the fact the contents of the article flew in the face of everything we strive to stop.

Let's shed all our respect and credibility with one group of collecters shall we.
