Hi Guys,

Any Palitoy people out there? I have this GEM MINT Palitoy 45bk R2 (Sens) MOC which has been autographed on the back by Kenny Baker.

I'd really appreciate some valuations as I do not know the Palitoy market nor how much the auto alters the price :?:

Many thanks in advance.

To me the autograph will decrease the price as I wouldn't want a figure with one on it.

The card itself is a beauty and Palitoy cards always look smart IMO.

I suppose the saving grace will be that the autograph is on the back of the card.

Wouldn't be 100% on giving a price for this but I know a few of the guys on here will be able to

Autograph adds no value. Kenny signs everywhere and anywhere. Nice figure though. I would say it's value is whatever it would be normally....whatever that is.

Your best bet with a signed MOC is ebay. IF you allow world wide sales on your account then it may get enough exposure to get a decent price. There are definitely people out there who will like that sort of thing tho you are unlikely to find them on these kind of forums.
Chris (caswellbot) sold a signed Darth Vader a while back and it did quite well i seem to remember. I think it sold in germany or somewhere around there. I may be wrong.

Thanks very much indeed for the input guys - much appreciated.

Also had a great PM from a mate... cheers Pal'Lee'toy! :p

TBH I recently acquired this piece in a large lot and as I no longer have any Palitoy MOCs left in my collection I think I may as well keep hold of it due to it's visual appeal.

Best of luck collecting.

Christian

It'll look great in GW acrylic too

That's a nice piece Christian!

I think it does help that the autograph is on the card back rather than the front like most of the signed MOCs I've seen, so it doesn't really detract from the overall display of it.

If you want an autograph on a MOC then get the signature on the star case or acrylic case the MOC will be in.
I know that doesn't really make it an autographed MOC but it almost is and one would not have got ink on the card and IMO and most other serious moc collectors opinion damaged and devalued it!! So you got the best of both worlds!
I did that with a MOC Tri-logo Fett many years ago, got Jerermy B to sign the star case it was in and it displayed great.
