Rocket Firing Boba

I have a local collecting friend that collects modern and he gave me some POPs, so I lucked out that way. In the past though you can usually pick up the POPs and form for under $10 on ebay which is a lot cheaper than buying figures.

Is this what you mean?

Is this the real deal? How does it work? Could you send this off from the UK? If so i may do this. No way i'm paying 50quid for that thing!

That $10 deal on ebay for the PoPs and form seems a bit too good to be true. The offer itself says only open to US and Canadian residents...

Yeah those are the POPs and form. Unfortunately they wouldn't honor them if you sent them with a UK address.

Received both of my Boba's today. Here's a few pictures I took of him.

Where did you get those from Shawn - mail away or ebay? There are very few on ebay now and the price has gone up as a result... When are they going to flood the board and go down to £10 - that's what I'm waiting for.

I mailed away for them. Ebay should be getting flooded as most people in the states have been getting them over the last week and I've seen a few people who ordered cases of them. Once all the hoopla has died down I'm sure you'll be able to get these pretty cheap.

Il be looking to pick a couple up, one loose and one carded. But, Im not paying £50 each for them!!! Its obvious they have been made in the millions... the price will reflect that when the dust settles. Still, I like the figure and the idea, nice nod to the vintage line I think. Dont really understand why they altered the sculpt though, I think they should have been an exact replica of the original, save for the rocket pack, rather than slightly different.
One thing im glad to see is the bottom of the feet, should stop some scammers.

it does look good - is there any difference in the weapons?

I'll try again

Sorry about that. As James said the weapon is more flexible like the '95 chewie bowcaster. I'm going to get some close up pictures comparing it to a vintage weapon for Jay to take a look at for TIG.

I had thought they were drying up on ebay but a few more have surfaced. Prices seem to be around £40.

Thanks Shawn and James :)

Is this deal coming to the UK? I was a bit pissed when the first vintage wave came out with out the free Boba deal missing.
