yes he won the european cup, but greece won the euros' so anyone can have a good cup run. to win the premiership you need a good qualty, large squad. who the **** is going to play upfront if torres gets injured?
rafa doesn't think of what is best for liverpool just as long as rafa gets what rafa wants. was any attempt made to bring in another striker after he decided to let keane go? or did he just want him out of the club to prove a point . at least houllier tried to do what was best for liverpool .... just dont think rafa cares

TBF Gerrard ****ed up the 3 corners he took before he came off. I'm not a footballer, but I reckon if I trained every day, and had done for 10 years, and I was the one told to take corners for my team that I would at least CONSIDER trying to get the ****ing ball over the first defender!!!!

Everton probably deserved it. Although, it was a dire game. If I'm being honest both sides deserved to lose. Yes, it changed when Lucas got sent off, I thought his first yellow was harsh but his second tackle was stupid. Once Liverpool went down to ten men, it was hold on for penalties or try and catch them on the break.

Dossena, is pish. He put in one good tackle but can't cross for shite, and his first touch is woeful.

Lucas, equally awful.

Torres, not fit and ****ed after starting 5 games on the spin.

Gerrard out for three weeks ( could miss four games )
I just wonder if any of the players are going to step up to the plate.
Sods law that Gerrard got injured, just after selling Robbie keane.
On Gerrard and the corners, I dont think he takes a good corner.
Babel against Spurs ( Carling Cup match ) took some quality corners.
Alonso free kicks last night were total shite by the way.

The problem is Torres does seem to play better when he is on his own. Whenever he has played alongside Keane, Babbel, Kuyt and whoever else they have tried with him they always seem to get in each others way.

Gerrard was better than Keane at playing the second striker role and when Alonso and Mascherano are fit there is no need for him to play central midfield so Keane was always going to miss out. The only way around it could have been to play Gerrard on the right instead of Kuyt but Gerrard doesn't like playing there and Kuyt is one of Rafa's "untouchables".

One way or another there will be some big changes in the next 6 months and it wouldn't surprise me to see Carlos Tevez in a Liverpool shirt!!!! :lol:

I could actually see that happening.
There are two potential problems with it though. Firstly the fact he playing for the scum ATM and secondly, the fact that Kia-what's-his-name wants £30 odd million for him!
