Benitez is a tw@t and im a liverpool fan...what idiot spends 20m on a player and only plays him for 60mins a match and leaves him on the bench for the rest.
He has his favourites..mostly spanish...he'll never make liverpool a championship winning side.
especiall when he wont substitute kuyt when he's playing crap...just take gerrard off and put him up front :roll:

It's not the non selection of Keane, or playing Kuyt, that I don't get. So much as them buying him for £20 million in the first place. I never NEVER thought he was worth even half that, in fact he would still have been over valued at £10 million. But, having overpaid by so much why then sell him back to his old club for £12 million six months later!?!!?
It just makes NO sense at all!
PS, I know it is £12 million increasing on (I assume) apperances, goals, caps etc, but still.
PPS, I have no idea what Spurs are doing trying to re-assemble their team from 2 years ago either!

The point is that benitez is sporadic and seems to not know what he is doing half the time....drawing games with 20 mins to go and taking off Torres and Gerrard...what a plonker.
Buying useless players (ok all managers do it) and not giving players fair shouts, i think babel with 4 or 5 games under his belt would solve a few right hand side issues, if we lose torres who plays up front?? if we lose gerrard who has the drive to get goals?
Torres needs a target man and he would flourish as the best player in the world...maybe even heskey would have been a better buy

Torres was ****ed in the Everton game. One of the newspaper reviews I read said they were surprised Benitez left him on as long as he did. As for Gerrard, that was a strange one, I'll give you that!
I think Benitez implied the other day that buying Robbie Keane wasn't his idea. Not sure if it's true or not but, I don't see the point in having a manager and not letting him buy the players. Look how well it's worked for Real Madrid in the last 5 years!
Babel, I'm still not convinced about. He has 2 types of games, Amazing, and/ or amazingly shite! From what I've seen the second type is far more common than the first.
Lose Torres and I guess Gerrard, Kuyt, Babel or even Benayoun play upfront. Not even gonna mention N'gog. It didn't seem to matter the first time we beat Chelsea or the time we beat United!
Lose Gerrard and I guess a lot more pressure falls on the shoulders of Alonso and Mascherano. Did Gerrard play against United!? I have a funny feeling him and Torres were injured, I could be wrong.
Heskey ahead of Keane!? Yeah, I'd take that. Although Benitez seems happy with Gerrard as a support striker. I don't think he trusts him in a regular midfield role, so Heskey (or A.N.Other striker) may well be wasted as he won't play 2 upfront with Gerrard in behind unless they are in dire need of a goal with only a few mins left.

we fall short with depth as well, although i do like babel, his confidence has been shot, continuously a sub, he's a forward by nature so you cant blame him playing for 15mins on the left, 40 on the right. I mean look at Thierry Henry...a winger at first and had a shocking first season but he got games and got better.

Id just keep gerrard as an offensive central midfielder, alonso and masch can alternate games as masch is need for guile in some games, maybe even play all three and float riera or babel in a mcmanaman role.
Kuyt is an awsome player but there are better options for a right flanker, he cant cross, cant take a man on, and cant thread a ball.
He would be better off as a first line of defense attcker, hastling passing, poaching, and pissing off defenses for 90 mins...and torres could just be torres

Rafa's first choice signing was Gareth Barry but Parry decided to waste all the money on Keane. Rafa thought Keane was only worth 10 million.
This is why Rafa wants to control the transfer's and wont sign his new contract.
Parry always pays over the odds to get his man and has cost LFC a lot of money over the years.
That's why Hick's wants rid of Parry.
However Gillett wants to keep Parry to piss Hick's off.

I know Benitez doesn't rate Parry, especially after he told him he wanted Vidic and that whoever owned him, were willing to sell for a few million, Parry then Hummed and Haaaed while United stepped in and bought him for a lot of million more.

lets just reiterate....Lucas is absolutely wank....gave away a penalty last game and gets sent off this game..and still get played....Dossena is a bag of arse, never will he be good enough for the premiership....benayoun is not good enough to play for liverpool, bolton, middlesboro maybe but not liverpool.
