True hero. What a great guy, not only was he a space genuis but he also knew the code to unlock the levels on Sonic2.

But really- him and David Attenbourgh are in a different league.

Shocked is all I can say, havent heard any news today for some reason. A great guy, he's the reason why I love looking up at the sky at night!!

Really sad news. Although I couldn't stand listening to him I appreciate what he did for space exploration.

I went to a talk / evening with Sir Patrick Moore, and a very fine and enlightening evening it was too. Sad loss indeed.
