Always seemed like such a down to earth and friendly chap when you saw him interviewed. I also understand that he had a lot of time for the fans too.

By all accounts, Peter Mayhew was a kind, gentle and lovely man, who was also good to his fans.

Devastating news to hear the passing of the mighty Peter Mayhew! Had the honour of briefly meeting him and getting his autograph in Chicago last month. He is and always will be Chewbacca!
