Had to pay respect to John Noakes today, a true legend and a real part of my childhood TV memories, "get down Shep", it must be when you get to a certain age that you start to lose a lot of your childhood hero's

Another childhood legend no longer with us.
Watching him fool around seems like yesterday.
I had read that he had become very ill, so maybe a blessing to now be at rest.

Sad news indeed.
Was the reason I watched Blue Peter, feels like a part of my childhood has gone with him.
Hopefully reunited with his faithful Shep
