I know, I just heard a little while ago, very sad. One of our best actors, great screen prescence and a great voice. Loved him as Gruber and the Sheriff of Nottingham amongst other great roles. "I'm gonna cut your heart out with a SPOON!". Will be sorely missed

I remember him from Die Hard, Harry Potter movies, Quigley Down Under and Robin Hood some really great movies.

He was really great as Hans in Die Hard and the Sheriff in Robin Hood.

Very sad loss, truly a superb actor, who had that top end quality of lending himself to all of the different characters he played, truly madly deeply is a fantastic piece from him, his Sherriff of Nottingham was brilliant, Snape was an amazing portrayal.

Gutted that he has been lost to us, such a shame....RIP

Best character in Harry Potter, but I tend to remember him from Dogma playing Metatron, an angel. Not one of his most famed roles but it's a good one non-the-less.

We're losing some real, REAL legends at the moment
