Director Richard Donner has passed away aged 91.

He directed so many great films in his lifetime (Superman, The Goonies, the Lethal Weapon films, The Omen, Scrooged, Maverick, to name a few), and by all accounts he was also a really nice man as well.

Rest in peace.

That's sad to hear but he's left us with such amazing films and always came across as a really nice person.

RIP. He directed so many great films Ladyhawke, Superman, Lethal Weapon, The Toy, The Omen, The Goonies and Scrooged.

Yes a sad loss indeed. Although the special effects have not aged as well as Star Wars (which others have?) no other film gives me goosebumps like the first 15 minutes of Superman. It was just magical.
