They do have a heritage archive, of which includes a toy section I was hoping to get a good look at. It's a real great shame as one of the last surviving subsidiaries of The Palitoy Company, Chad Valley will probably go too as Woolworth’s own the brand. That pretty much leaves only Airfix left.
About a fifth of my day to day work is for Woolworths and sadly was notified before it became public, letting all creditors know that they may/ may not get what is owed.
WH Smith will probably be next highstreet one to go.![]()
