Return of the NIGO - Sothebys auction 11 Dec

Didn't he sell part of his collection at Sotherbys last year?

Seem to remember all his three packs going for relatively reasonable prices

I don't like how they've bucketed stuff together. There are a couple of tris that are interesting, but in big lots of items that I don't want to bid on. Not ideal.

Same reason Vectis do it, it's not worth their while collecting 25% commission on a $50 MOC.

These lots are much bigger than the vectis ones aren't they? Vectis go for 3 or 4 whereas some of these are 10 or more. Grouping Fetts together is stupid, they'd sell for good money as singles and will hurt the price.

Think his earlier auction went very much under the radar, hence the decent prices. Can't see this one doing that as its on here, RS, Facebook and the press (which is a shame!) amongst other things...

Yep your right Andy. His 3 pack collection went cheap. I'm still trying to find out where it ended up as I would have loved a shot at the bespin set engineering pilot test package.

Some serious pieces coming up in the auction :!: And a right character(JH) involved

Thankfully no Palitoy for me :p

Haha, yep, no Palitoy, so me no interested either.

Saw some comments of FB about some items must have been resealed, and other questionable things. Whoever is bidding on these items is going to be taking a big risk. Can't imagine anything you're not happy with because of bad photos or description will be cared about by that lot.

You'd need to do a bit of digging on the 7 pack if you were interested as the figure combo looks iffy. Not to say it isn't still worth good money - but a lot of these type of things got split up then put back together years ago.

The combination of figures in that seven pack is a known combination.

With Lobot not shrink wrapped? If so, I stand corrected.

Noticed that Sotheby's are also advertising NIGO's stuff on eBay now. The Madine auction description is rather inaccurate!

One of the rarest action figures in the world, there are only 12 known examples of this General Madine.

At last count there was actually more than double that amount ( http://trilogo.info/features/general-madine/ ) and I'm sure there are more out there..
