It's strange.

In my 41 years on this planet I have never heard of the band or the guy himself (or maybe I did but just don't remember).

I felt a bit odd this morning on the way into work, because everyone on the radio was talking about what a prolific band they were and what a legend he was, and I had never heard of him, or them.

That aside, condolences to his family, friends and fans.
