Great examples of a fantastic figure- thanks for sharing, everyone! One of my fav cardbacks, as well.

Here are mine, Palitoy 20-bk reseal, minty loose and my favourite one- my childhood figure, which, along with the DSD, was my first figure.

What does 20-bk reseal mean please?

What does 20-bk reseal mean please?

It means there are pictures of 20 figures on the back and the bubble has been opened, but resealed to the original backing card (all original parts).

Is it frowned upon to buy original boxes and get the figures put in? Seems dishonest, but the actual physical object is the same.

Some people don't like them, but there's nothing wrong with using all original (non-reproduction) parts to build a carded figure. The cost of carded figures is crazy, so having something almost as good, for a fraction of the cost is a no-brainer IMHO. Most experienced collectors can spot them pretty easily and sellers give full disclosure (99% of the time!), so no dishonesty.

Thanks that's useful to know. I recall in a Facebook forum that accessories are faked quite a lot - do you have any tips where I might find genuine figure accessories and what I should look for?

Do plenty of research - there's very useful websites out there like The Imperial Gunnery and Variant Villain with information about genuine accessories, reproduction items and how to identify them.
If you are buying from Facebook stick to groups that do not allow reproduction "repro" items. Echo Base and Jabba's Palace are a good start but always do your own research even with sales in respected groups. Good luck, enjoy the hunt
