I made the mistake of buying a repro Tuskan staff a while back, cant remember who from, it was brittle as osteoporosis, I binned it soon as I recived it and bought a real one instead...

Here is the first one...

as you can see the mold is wrong on the dots on the side and the repro is painted gold instead of molded gold.

it goes to show how hard it is to spot repro's.
used jawa's armory as a reference,cloud car pilot/tie fighter pilot weopon for instance is made out of lead!!!!!!!.others are different colours which has'nt shown up in photo.
others are very brittle, sabre's painted etc.
