Hi guys,I posted this up a couple of months ago as I was unsure :? if this was a reprodution sticker. As you can see that we thought it be original.turns out it is a repro sticker. I sent him in to ukg to be graded and steve got back to me with edited pics of what to look for in these repros.Just thought I would post this up again so we would know what to look for

Shitting hell - I honestly though it looked good - sorry about that mate

Normally the repro stickers for these things are pretty obvious. It just goes to show what sort of **** is out there now

No problem guys,I thought the thing was legit,it just looked too white, thats what worried me.Been having a chat with Steve at UKG and he says these are getting harder to spot.Apart from the size difference(as pointed out in the pics)the texture is a lot more smoother. Its more noticable on the back!!!

Did Steve give you any information on the origin of these stickers at all? It does look incredibly good to be reproduction (although these days it seems exact replicas are now possible)

It would be cool for the rest of us to know where these repros are coming from, cross reference them against existing variants etc so all information would be really helpful as that one just looks perfect to me!

Just thought I would comment to help you out with these are currently for sale on ebay and are extremely good here are some to cross reference
Also I have edited the picture to another big giveaway with this repro version sticker.

Bluesnagman - I am sure he has been flagged up before as a well known scammer

I makes me so angry that they are only doing this for profit yet can ruin the hobby for all of us

Yea mate ,I'm with you there. Its f**kin up the hobby

Well that sucks balls, thanks for the info Steve. I think bluesnagman has an account on here actually - maybe he would like to come and apologise for his "craftsmanship"....

Oh wait he only turns up to post each time he wants postcards from around the world for his kids projects at school or donations..

Oh and skywalker - sorry mate for the false hope when you first posted :(

Well Joe - I think with you new powers that a ban is definitely in order

These should also be reported to ebay

I will send bluesnagman a PM and get him to reply to the thread..skywalker I take it you bought this from ebay advertised as original?

Can you give us the ebay users ID?

No problem mate :D , I thought he was ok too, just thought he looked a bit too white.I bought him off a guy about a year ago who was selling up,described as off a damaged card. When I got him I thougt he was really minty.Bought a load of figures of the same seller and they were all fine(no repros). I think I just got caught out with this one and to be fair the seller might of aswell :?

Todd (Bluesnagsman) has been at this a long time. I think he has a connection to the oversea repro stash from the 90's, including the more resent unpainted, unmarked saber repros (I bought some off of him).....anyways...the scans for these sticker are free and available on the internet.....so there are many people making these. I do not exactly approve of them, but these have been out there for over 10 years and even if you could get him to stop...it will not stop the flow of these. I do agree with Joe that he is a memeber here, but he only seems to contribute when he wants sometype of donation of funds for some type of event his kid is in.....I am not innocent when it comes to dealing with him, as we have had many......but that does not mean that he should not stop selling these to the general public, who will only use them for deception or profit...and I guess he he could mark his as repro in small font...just food for thought guys....and no I do not need to be flamed for dealing with him for the needs of my own personal collection.

I agree there is no stopping him now Todd, same for revalveit's sabers and Nathan Edward's crappy recards, they will always be about until the day they get bored.

I don't know what the general consensus will be about banning Todd from here but given the fact that his input and contribution on this forum is hardly going to be missed I don't think it would make a great deal of difference either way..however it might make skywalker feel a little better :)

Agreed. I am not defending Todd at all (If that is what you were thinking). He has been at this for a while and makes a decent profit from it. For those who despise repros and all the sellers on ebay that have them with their figures...I can tell you that at least 80% of these repro weapons originate from Todd. The rest come from other sources (Beggars Canyon, Jedi Retro cards Etc.)...hell back in the early 90's, Brian's toys was the biggest seller of these early repro weapon packs...plus the 12 inch repros...I guess Brian decided to get out of that business and just mark the real **** up beyond belief. :D

As you can see here the sticker images are basically free on the Web

Thanks Joe  ,But I'm not looking to get anyone banned, just posted this up so you guys can be aware whats out there. If the guy wants to sell this stuff, thats up to him.But now we know what to look for.I'm into free speech and all that **** so it would'nt sit well with me to ban anyone...unless he was a gooner :o

**** ****** ***** ****, I purchased a couple of Vintage light sabers off him a while back, he assured me they were vintage do I have anything to be worried about?

Also just recently directed another member on here to one of his saber sales hope I didn't inadvertently direct him into buying a repro!!

Todd is not a scam artist, he sells real **** too, so you have the real deal. The concern is more over his skills at making nice repro R2 Stickers,
