Honesty is a virtue that is of the self from within,
That's where the problem lies therein,
Be honest and true but not to the extent,
What you say is opinionated and not of factual content,
However, when ambiguity is used as a tool,
In order to play on need and emotion, in order to fool,
The unsuspecting and decent, those of heart that are true,
It is the duplicitous person that sits with conscience to wrestle, not you,
When that person takes stock and weighs the effects of their actions,
They will realise why they have negative reactions,
Slowly respect for them from others is lost,
That is a lonely world, but that is the cost,
Of selfish and onerous dealings,one day they may see,
