Replica Vehicle Boxes

I'm looking at completing my boxed vehicle collection soon but i'm concerned as I've notice people have started selling the replica boxes on Ebay, apparently they are all marked as such but is there any other way of telling them apart ? The colours on them look a bit off so hopefully no one will get tricked in future, it's got to a point where i'd rather buy a tatty boxed vehicle as least I know it's genuine, although I wouldn't be surprised if some people purposely tatty them up to make them look original, thanks

If they are of the same "ahem" quality as the repro cardbacks I picked up (ie physically, didn't buy them) at the NEC fair you'll tell easily in hand, not sure from a photo though.

I'd steer clear of them....genuine boxes do show up every now and then.....I'm holding out for a nice Landspeeder and Cloud Car box one day for my loose vehicles

There are several threads on Mr.Orme and his crap repro boxes on the forum. His colors fade over time, are off and he uses the wrong materials to produce them.
