Remember these? Thread for obscure childhood toy memories

Here's one I picked up a while back that my sister had as a kid, I also just purchased one that I had as a kid too called Cosmic 2000 Fire Away. Currently in post to a mate in the US who's sending it on to me. Can't wait to hear the cheezy 80's music again.

That Devil Fish was called a "Wacky Wall Crawler " over here. They were awesome until they picked up half the fuzz and crap off the floor...then they just did not seem to stick to the wall as well with potato chip crumbs and dog hair on them.

You just had to wash them in a bit of water with washing up liquid & they come back good as new Todd, I should know m8, mine must have had the de fluff/crispy bits treatment a gigazillion times

Sad news about your eagle m8, I remember the big un's sadly never had one of them.

That game looks cool Ryan, I love the old retro games

& yes get digging dude ;) sure there will be hidden treasure :D

These were another Favorite more towards the end of my urge to play with toys as a kid, finished with toys about the age of 12 started playing with them again at 30

I loved that game as a kid, I remember it was brilliant fun. No doubt it will be **** now, but way back when, it was great fun.

After looking at this thread I have to say that I cannot believe it. There's so much various stuff that I also had as a kid...

The battle beasts for example... totally had forgotten about these, but after seeing them, I remember... are they easy to get and cheap?

TMNT, had some of them as well... Back in the days I travelled to the US with my parents. Nobody in Germany knew what they were back then and I thought they were super cool and got some. Don't have them anymore though sadly. :( Same story for Real Ghostbusters btw.

Batman Helicopter and James Bond car, had them too and a Spider-Man helicopter as well. Also Hulk on a motorcycle, but think I may have sold this 2-3 years ago.

Also the foam spitfires and the Space 1999 spacecraft I had.

And yes, the black smurf. Maybe it still hides on the attic of my parents? If it was so rare, is it worth anything???

Had the Grasshopper, WWF figures and StarCom too. (Sold the WWF figures and the blue ring recently).

Letraset Action Transfers... I loved them as a youngster and had long time forgotten about them. When I remembered them a couple of years ago I didn't know what to search for to find them and so I failed. A friend of mine then bought me a huge SW book which had a lot of old toys reproduced in it as a gimmick and there was also a set of these. They remain sealed albeit being reproductions, but that thingy alone made this book one of the nicest x-mas presents ever.

I remember having had some electronic games but don't remember which, would have to see them again to know. But after seeing the Tandy "graphics", it may have been something alike. Also had some plastic pinball games.

Want to go back to the those times now and watch myself enjoy the toys as a kid from a 3rd person POV. :|

Battle Beasts are relatively cheap yeah. Carded examples show up from time to time and are quite affordable.

I remember collecting these cards....used to love opening them and seeing the sick characters with eyeballs being poked out or throwing up ect lol
