LOL haven't seen one of them in ages.

Doesn't ring a bell Ed.

 Hyper colour now they were cool, lame but cool.

WTF are those Josh, they look familiar.

Always wanted one of these as a kid, they were huge back in the day. Folks relented and said I'd get one for Christmas... wahoo :D

Hard to fake excitement on Christmas morning when you end up with something similar to this.

Great thread- I used to love the foam planes! 20p!

I had a cool toy back in the early 90s, it was a black and purple triangular space ship and came with small figures (mirco collection size) I *think* the little fellas has magnet in the feet......
Ring any bells?

I had those STARCOM mate :)

I remember Atmosphere!
It was a great laugh, but sadly had bog all play-ability. After one game you knew what was gonna happen.
They made a few other follow up games as well. Same problem though.

I remember the spit fire and the transfers as well.

No idea what Josh is trying to imply though!

I remeber playing this game totally shitfaced....loads of fun....although your right....after playing it once the surprises were limited.

I used to love those transfers Ryan, bloody great fun.

When daylight is up here tomorrow I will get a few things together & post some photos & I have a set of some retro toy items none of you will have a clue about, bar one member that is.

You all remember the finger toppers? - jelly monsters/ghouls & ghosts with arms you could pot on your fingers, & the fruit pencil toppers?.

I got a suitcase full of old cheap toy stuff from a guy on the car boot that used to work at a tip & will see if I can dig them out & take a photo or 2 of them as well.

But here are a couple of what I do have photos of handy -

Use to love the foam spitfires.
I remember in cereals too, usually shreddies when you use to get a set of those transfers inside and a scene on the back of the box to put them... and who remembers those shrink packets you got that you stuck in the oven and they shriveled up

Remember that Batman helicopter and James Bond car very well. :D

Yeah you guys had Corgi's and we had Hotwheels & Matchbox...I have to admit the Corgi's were way more detailed. I remember the James Bond Austin Martin I had...you could shoot Jaws right out of the ejection seat.

god only knows how many hours I through in to that donkey kong game as a kid, I also had a yellow domed pac-man & a astro-wars, the astro-wars used to get a right hammering - good times!

Here are some of what I dug out earlier, must get them all displayed soon.

First up, one of my oldest toys/models - bet there are not many folks that can tell me who/what these are?

Eagle transported in tattered condition - Space 1999 - it seemed soooo far in to the future & I was really hoping for space exploration to be more of a reality by that date

One of my favourite toys as a child over in Germany, I had a surf house & everything, sadly this is pretty much all that's left, a rarer red jungle smurf & the unobtainable black smurf, I used to get a phone call from all the local toy shops the day they got a new box of smurfs in so I could open it up to try & get a black smurf, it still took 3 years to get my hands on one, as there was only one in every 300 boxes made (so the rumour was) & I can believe it as I must have opened 100's of boxes of them back in the early 80's, then 10 years later they went & produced them in bloody mass  though from what I understand there are at least 8 variants of this figure - so its not just SW collectors that go mad for variants

My childhood collection of vintage matchbox, now in my sons collection, just loved those flip top superkings & that plane went EVERWERE with me

Hope you enjoy & that it sparks a few nice memory's for some of you.

Cool Space 1999 Eagle one. I had the large one with the figures...it was cool........until we threw it off the roof of the house. It was quite a harsh landing on Moon Base Alpha. :D

That Devil Fish was called a "Wacky Wall Crawler " over here. They were awesome until they picked up half the fuzz and crap off the floor...then they just did not seem to stick to the wall as well with potato chip crumbs and dog hair on them.
