Hi all,
I'm a relative newbie and have the opportunity to buy some 1977 carded figures but they look too good to be true. I was hoping if you guys could tell me whether they've been recarded or not, and maybe some tips on how to tell the difference. Thanks in advance for any help.

These are the only pics I was given:

Recards!

Bubbles look too wide. Han is a faded image.

If you are ever unsure just look on Ebay - there are always a good number of images on there for reference (especially AFA graded items).

The real shame is they appear to have used the classic 4-pack figures issued in the 90's. Recast from kenner figures they are smaller in size and another dead giveaway is the fact that lukes saber tip is all wrong.

I was thinking the figures didn't look quite right.
Maybe I actually know SOMETHING about this hobby after all!

Access to FFURG cardback scans : Free
Crappy Inkjet printer : $40
Classic edition 4 pack : $12

Scamming other collectors : Priceless.

Well we've established shitty recards and modern figures, i was drawn to the username....well i googled milkynips and i really didnt like the images i saw, so i though id post something i found about 1000 pages after all the nipples leaking milk ect

I like the direction this thread is taking.

LOL. YUP, if only the RS Recard and repro threads could just turn into a tit fest....wouldn't have half the whinging and bitching ****, that goes on in that place.

Yeah wouldnt it be neat if they re-released the old figures. :D
