Rebels Figures- what's the story?

The little 'un has gotten into rebels in a big way and I want get him some of the figures for Xmas. I've seen some of our American cousins posting on FB that the figures have been delayed until next year. What is this 1977?? where's the early bird certs?????

I've got a couple of questions I'm hoping I can get answered here:

Are they delayed in the UK also? If so until when?
I'm seeing them on eBay, how'd these guys get them?
They're charging £20+ per figure, how much will they actually retail for? They're 5poa right?
If they are delayed until after Xmas, anyone got a lead on some reasonably priced ones?

I'm in Florida for a few more days, just called the nearest TRU and they've just had a delivery of some more 3 packs, if you want I can drive over and pick one up for you?

Hasbro really have screwed this up. In years past there was too much stuff at any one time, now theres not enough. An already running SW series that you can't buy a figure for? :roll: (apart from that US TRU exclusive)

It's a shambles! Toys-r-us even did a Rebels promotion the other weekend to launch the range. Children had to dress up and they would get a certificate. They had advertised it and had posters available saying figures available in store! Lol! My boys were so disappointed to find absolutely nothing apart fromvthe giant figures available.They've been saving their August and September birthday money for Rebels figures, which has shown great patience for a 6 & 8 year old.

I emailed Hasbro, and they're so incompetent, that instead of forwarding my email to the relevant person, they forwarded it back to me, asking me to deal with it! Very poor!

Thankfully, Colin has been really helpful in getting the 3 pack for my boys while he's on his hols in the US. That will hopefully keep them quiet for a while. Top bloke!

I saw the 3 packs in toysrus now so i purchased a second one, slight different wording on the box but apart from that identical, a few dealers had the EURO multi language single figures yesterday at collectormania soi got one, guess the shops will get them soon

Finally had a reply from Hasbro UK:

Hi Andy,

I am very sorry we do not have any information at the moment for those figures.
If you would like to give us another email in a week or so, hopefully we will have some updated information for you.
