Here's a potential purchase, I can't post better quality pictures as the deal hasn't been done and the item is on foreign shores. Were dt lukes made in hong kong etc what markings should the luke have? At first glance what do you think ... Thanks in advance.

Colour isn't right or unfiorm. Flashing. Prominent break points.

I'm not even close to being in league with some of the DT big boys but this has warnings everywhere.

Ok, thanks, I thought the break points were a good indication that it was real? The colour is almost two tone, yellow where the outer sabre has been in the arm and pale where its been exposed, I would of thought this was a good indicator of age, all wrong though?

Is the one with 3ml missing. I thought it was real as it it had the 3 break points. An the thought the odd colour was down colour deteriation..... :?

It doesn't look like mine which I know is correct. I'm no expert but it's my initial thoughts.

Its cheap now. But itl rocket for sure. Are you a member on rebel scum they have a dedicated dt thread! Post it there bud i think its ok with the break points and also the fact it has abit broken/missing sways abit for me. Hit it up on rs aswell for more advice before you get trigger bid happy

I must admit that because of the fading I think it might be real. I'm pretty sure those break points can be there due to the sprue they come off of and I can't imagine a new/reproduction one fading like that.

The above is really not based on much admittedly and I'm sure it wouldn't be that difficult to create fading but it kind of looks right to me. There was a whole load of information about these on line a while back but I can't seem to find any at the moment but I'm sure there are a fait few DT collectors out there who can help out.

No i didn't, it went past my limit, my gut was that it was legit but I'm no expert. It just had a aged look that I think is difficult to fake but hey ho the search goes on. I'm not too gutted! :roll:

Looks genuine in my opinion. Colour, fading, break points and lettering are all good!

It finnished @ aprox £250. Out of my range came with a 3 line luke aswell. Surprised it didnt go for more.
