real names

ok if things go to plan i should be meeting with han some time next week and had a chat with him over real names.
have any of you met up and found it hard not to use each others users names

Only person I've met and spoken with a fair bit was David Tree, who uses the same name online :roll:

I do have alot of people on msn whose real names I use.

You could get a few funny looks if you start calling each other Han and Jabba in a restaurant. Although I seem to associate people with their avatar and I would therefore expect Han to actually be an ewok :lol:

Only for the initial introduction but after it is usually first names which is part of my username anyway.

That said at CE sometimes it was so hectic all you got was a username anyway, especially when about 5 people turn up at once and everyone is being introduced left, right and centre.

When I met some of the lads from here at CE to give them their shirts it was a little strange calling someone Darth Wensleydale, but it was alright with the others ie Spoons, Jason and Edd! :lol:

Perhaps Darth Wensleydale sounds too formal for me to say in public....
