I find it difficult to comment constructively on items like this. The price just seems crazy to me but i guess it reflects the rarity. Over $2000

I know what you mean. I don't mind spending 40 or 50 quid here and there, i might even stretch to £100 for something that i really want. With this sort of money i could build a new garage or even buy a car to put in it :shock:

I agree - I think you are going to have to have some serious cash to buy such items - and there's still cas out there (I think :? )

Its a cool display for sure. Like Todd says it is a very tough one to locate and because it is early it is that much more appealing. For me personally, there are other displays I would rather own but for seasoned store display collectors I expect this has whipped up a small frenzy. The price would certainly indicate that it has.

Yes, I have long been under the impression that Brian May has a VSW collection, going back many years.
This is a glorious piece, in such fine condition + mailer envelope it's gonna fly I would imagine.
Very admirable, but it's not for me. I just pickup a few odd loose bits, strictly within budget, for a bit of fun. Quite honestly, I'd be in fear of such a rare and immaculate item, wouldn't know what to do with it!
