Do you remember which figures were rare when you collected them as a kid. For some reason i remember klattu being rare and could never find a power droid

never saw a power droid only ever saw a yoda once apart from snotty ****ing neightbours ,should have nicked that

I owned one of the rarest figures when i was a kid.
It was a vinyl cape jawa, and before anybody ask's me. No i still dont have it.
I swapped it along with 10 of the other first 12 figures for a stupid computer game.

I was the only kid in my school with a vinyl cape jawa and got the piss taken out of me.
The cloth cape looked more like the film jawa. However i prefered the vinyl cape version as mine was unique.
I swapped it for some stupid space invader game, one of those cheap crap things that plugged into the TV.

God, I can't remember. I think I always wanted a Hammerhaed. I remember on a saturday morning my mum coming up to my bedroom to say the post had arrived. I got a Nien Nunb and Emporer through in the little white boxes as I has collected the tokens off the packaging. I was so friggin happy as none of my mates had them. The Falcon had a new co-pilot!

Had two vinyl caped Jawas - don't think the capes lasted long though :( . Remember out with me Mum and going into the local toyshop and buying the Jawa playset (cardboard) that didn't last long either. Also me grandma buying me a Tie Fighter which lasted for ages - in fact still got it though has seen better days.
The only thing me and our kid wanted was the Cloud Car - never saw it in the shops.
Also remember getting the Rancor Keeper in a mail away.

Went to every toy shop in Nottingham before finding a cloth cape 12 back Jawa to complete the first 12. Finally found one in a toy shop in a cardboard box out the back of the shop.

I was convinced as a child that snaggletooth was not sold in the uk :)

I remember klaatu being one of the last released of the first jedi line, so felt he was very rare as well. Never saw a vinyl cape jawa until i started collecting again in the 90's.

Was this when you were a kid?

I remember Chewie being tough. So was Jawa and Yoda

Indeed. Didn't want tp fuel the fire of a palitoy vinyl caped jawa though. I never saw any as a nipper in the UK.

Also as there was no Han in Stormtrooper had two Lukes and painted one of them the hair black with a marker pen to be Han :p

I remember wanting a Luke X Wing (or as I called him "orange Luke" ) and biker scout for ages. Got a biker scout finally in a swap at school in about 1987, and never did get a Luke :(
